I was born and grew up in a craft family in Japan. My father was a cabinet maker and my uncle was a traditional Japanese tile maker so
I grew up with many memories of wood and clay around me and also the hard life of a craft family. For this reason I did avoid becoming a part of craft field. When I was majoring in business administration in the college, I found a ceramic class by chance and I was immediately enchanted by the feeling of clay.
That was how my career as a clay artist began.
